Perfect way to marry business and pleasure, April 2011
The apartment was superb and the location absolutely excellent. Given the fact that Harrogate was busy with a big conference that I was also attending, the cost was fantastic value given the ample rooms and quality of it all. I had great expectation based on other reviews and was not disappointed at all. There was no need to check in, the key box on the outside pillar worked a treat. Harrogate in itself is a really pleasant city, if you are looking for somewhere to stay with a bit of independance and great location, this is your place.

We were very impressed with our apartment. It was very spacious, stylish with modern fittings, clean and perfect for what we needed. The staff were very friendly and courteous at all times. Would suit anyone staying for just a night or for several weeks/months. Free high-speed WIFI. Competitive winter rate and great value for money. Beats the traditional hotel room for sure!

Don't bother with a boutique hotel, stay here for an exceptional stay.
We've stayed in Harrogate before, at a hotel that was expensive, looked great but had tiny rooms, no free parking and the room was so hot we couldn't sleep. This time we had a party to go to in Harrogate and needed to stay somewhere again but we didn't want to stay at the same place again so we booked in at the Lawrance.
In short, this place was exceptional, great value and we will stay there next time we go to Harrogate.

I booked the Lawrence apartments hoping for a nice apartment for me and my partner to stay in after a comedy show in Harrogate and some birthday drinks. I couldn't have been happier with the service and accommodation. I received a call on the day checking what time i was planning to check in. I mentioned that it would be useful if i could come across earlier than the usual check in time and as my room was ready this was not a problem. I was greeted by a warm and friendly receptionist who showed me to the apartment and everything it had to offer. I was already impressed with the service and the apartment didn't change things. Although a studio, it was spacious, clean, modern and even had milk and water in the fridge. I set the room up to return later with my partner (it was a suprise). He, like me, was impressed with the apartment and, along with everything else, helped make his birthday special. At just slightly more then a lot of the hotels in Harrogate, this was much more value for money and much much more for your money. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Harrogate. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

These apartments are great. Really clean, really cool, great location as they are no more than 5 min walk from town centre. No expense has been spared in the designing of these apartments they look brilliant. I would stay here over a hotel any day as it gives you the freedom to try out all the restaurants and if you want room service you have Brio's restaurant below who supply room service. Great value for money too!

This holiday was just all about luxury. The thick carpets, the automatic lights, the incredible kitchens and the walk in showers. I've never stayed in a serviced apartment before, but I can see the appeal. There's just everything you could possibly want there. Thank you so much for your huge generosity, we had a fantastic time and two days on, the kids are still talking about the 'holiday home'. We'll be back!

I can thoroughly recommend The Lawrance luxury apartments on Kings Road. The standard of the accommodation would be difficult to beat and provided a wonderfully relaxing and spacious place to stay. Staff were excellent and very helpful.
A superb, modern apartment - Recommended
As soon as I arrived I was greeted by staff and shown how the key locks and everything worked. The apartment was as good as any 5 star hotel quality and the bed was extremely comfortable giving a great un interrupted nights sleep. The whole building is superbly , and sympathetically renovated and decorated and oozes quality. I will without doubt stay again.

Contemporary luxury is the theme throughout, with each apartment oozing state of the art chic. The bedrooms all feature huge king-size beds, Egyptian cotton bed linen and bespoke fitted furniture. Beautifully designed with soft lighting and indulgent fabrics, those lazy weekend lie-ins are a bit special in Duchy House.

Uber stylish throughout, star of the show is the stunning Manhattan-style 2-bed duplex apartment, where contemporary decor and classic furniture compliment the huge open space perfectly.

Within seconds I'm checked in and being led up to my chic pad for the night. It's instantly obvious that the creators of these apartments have lavished a lot of attention on creating high-spec, added-extra accommodation for people who are no stranger to five-star hotels. The design is utterly contemporary with all the amenities you might need from stylish self-catering. Egyptian cotton-clad pocket-sprung mattresses, audio-visual thrills from plasma TV to iPod dock, as well as bathrobes and slippers and a fabulous Ren-stocked bathroom. What's not to love? I'm immediately earmarking these apartments for girly weekends away. City break on the continent? Pah. I've fallen head over heels with Harrogate.

At the weekend we stayed at the Lawrence apartments in Kings Road as we had stayed previously in both the Coach House and York Road apartments,we can only say that it is a delight to stay in these apartments,everything you could possibly wish during your stay has already been thought of. We have passed on your email and number to our friends in the hope they will sample the luxury for themselves.............very enjoyable.

The Lawrance is a real find - fantastic location, right around the corner from Harrogate's main shopping area, and just a short step from all the local bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, with attention to detail that really made it feel like a luxury getaway. My husband and I loved the funky interior and agreed that it was well worth the price. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful also. I would thoroughly recommend the Lawrance to anyone, and will definitely be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lawrance. The receptionist was very helpful and the quality of the accommodation excellent. We also had some nibbles sent up from the restaurant below which was also very nice.

I am so glad we chose to stay in an aparthotel rather than just a hotel as it really did give us the best of both worlds.
First class spacious accommodation with a conciege on-site for all the little requests you might have such as booking a taxi or seeking advice on the area.
Michelle our contact is a real credit to The Lawrance Aparthotel as she was so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left.

The apartments were far the best I have ever stayed in , sometimes when people describe their accommodation as luxury in the title it can be a let down when you get there however these apartments were certainly no let down and exceeded all expectations. I would love the opportunity to stay in these gorgeous apartments. The staff were also extremely helpful and attentive.

These apartments are fab - they are way beyond standard of hotel let alone serviced apartments. Staff were impeccable - attention to details second to none. This is such a better value for money option than anything else we have tried in Harrogate. First class - good luck to them!

We arrived on friday night at about 7pm after a long journey up M1 from Nottingham. I was with my wife and we we meeting two of our friends from the Lake district in Harrogate. I found the Lawrance via Laterooms and was seriously impressed when we arrived. The level of service was fantastic. Our two bedroomed suite was spacious and had everything. WiFI, Playstation and MP3 docking station. It was clean and Home from home. Brilliant place.. We ordered room service via the room menu Sat which was not expected.. Our entire weekend as a four was £440.00 and for 5 star, thats value for money. I understand they have just opened in 2009 so hope they keep up this impeccable standard.
